Really, by the number of people swearing they aren't going to the ball, you'd think it was like pulling teeth or something. It's almost Christmas Holidays!
I don't understand why so many people in a bad mood. Really I can only think of the Woods/Flints a handful of people that should be upset.
Anyways, whatever. I just plan the ball, not force people there. I'm looking forward to it anyway, and spending time with a certain Hot Red head! Fred... you're not backing out on it are you? Because you didn't ask- not that you should have to but it would be nice...

Yes, yes! The Social Committee is at it again for you entertainment needs! Remember all Committee members, we have a very busy week! Saturday afternoon especially since that's the only time we get to decorate the Great Hall! If anyone has any ideas, or want to help out and volunteer let me or another of the other committee members know!
Oh, all this on top of finals. Oh well, busy busy is a good way too be but it's been rather hard to see Fred.... Goodness! I have to pick out a gown too! So exciting, but so stressful.

I can't believe it was just last year it was a big deal that we were of age. And now we're 18... which is still a big deal but still. I am glad the day is finally here, though a birthday on a Monday is quite sad really.
Some people may think it's tough sharing your birthday with two siblings, but it's not nearly so bad. The days are long gone where we would get the same thing. Which by the way, thank you everyone who gave me gifts, I love everything I've received so far.
I'm still wondering what Daddy is getting for us! His gifts are SO much more interesting than Mum's.

Unlike my siblings, I'm not teaching. And I don't know WHY! So I suppose that just gives me more time for my own work, than coming up with a time table for class. Maybe I'll work on an assignment about it for newspaper...
Freddy darling, are you teaching a class? Because I know someone who has free time from such silliness, if you're not!
Also, birthday is coming up! I already know what I'm getting Miklos, but Saxen I swear you get harder everywhere.

I do believe, I've decided on my costume! I'm going to be a mermaid! But not like those... creepy ones in the lake, ew. I'm going to be a pretty one! I was looking through some magazines I had and there were a few mermaid costumes. Most of them were... well not classy at all! But I found a nicer one, that covers more and is pretty much a dress.

It's so pretty, and I love the colour! So that's what I'm going to wear for Halloween! Now Freddy... I was thinking about you too of course. And I think you would make a very very sexy pirate! Ruffle-less of course, I didn't forget.

Well Tristan, it looks like we're going to be partners. Oh well... at least he's cute. Let me know if you want to meet up before hand!
Now, I'm going to put out some more news about the Halloween Ball! Just because we want people to get more involved with their costumes, we're going to have some costume contest! There will be prizes for the best costumes, the best pairs, and the best designer. Yes, if you made your own or someone else's costume you should get the credit for it. Social Committee members will not be participating because we will be judging.
So, if anybody has any other contest ideas, or have any suggestions on the nights entertainment, please let me know or any of the other Committee members! Much appreciated.
Fred, are you out of detention yet?

Hopefully everyone's seen the Social Committee notices by now about the ball. Of course I'm going to expect everyone in the club to help. There is a lot to get done, and sister darling I can count on your perfect organizational skills as usual yes? Good.
If anyone has any questions about the ball, of course you can ask me, or any of the other committee members. We're also open to suggestions.
I'm also excited about coming up with my own costume. Of course, being Head of it all I have to look fantastic, as well as the rest of the committee. It should be fun! I wonder if Fred will ask me to the ball too...

I think... I'm more angry about my cloths and getting soaked than about my hair. Except when it goes to like... Gold, and Yellow! I don't like having light hair, I enjoy my dark brown hair very much thank you! But it doesn't stay like that for long, because then it switches up to oranges, and red. Which still isn't really for me... Honestly the only thing I've liked so far is pink which happened after reading Fred's journal again.
So, I've decided it's just a good idea to bring out some of my favorite hats. It won't cover all of it but whatever, it's long. No big deal. It's going to go away, so I'm not too worried. Okay now it's like... closer to my skin tone! Great... ugh.
But it's not stopping me from going to Hogsmeade! I've been looking forward to it, and something like mood revealing hair is not going to stop me! So don't worry about me standing you up Fred. It's Pink again!

I don't think I've ever wanted a pet rabbit as much as I have this week. I wonder if Daddy will buy me one? I'd rather a real one than something transfigured from a tea cup. It would probably be a bit dumb, though I maybe underestimating them. They have been running away from 6th years all week. Oh so funny the amusement that can be found in these hallways.
As for Hogsmeade, I'm definitely going. Need a visit to Threebrooms Sticks majorly. Anyone who wants to come with me... feel free to ask! Meaning, I'm looking for a date boys!
